How much is an opener?

  • Openers come in different designs based on your application and are typically determined based on the consumer objective.  Space maximization:  Jackshaft may be recommended, Noise reduction: DC driven operator, Ability to operate anywhere in the world with WIFI connectivity, Bluetooth capable (Home Links), Controls: quantity of remotes, outside keypad, Cameras: for security. 

Do we offer a free estimate? 

  • Yes, For New Door Sales: We offer a Free Estimate for New Garage Door Sales. We bring the showroom to you!  

Do you charge a Service fee?

  • Yes, For Service Repair:  A Service fee is required to dispatch a fully stocked truck with a certified technician to meet the repairs when we arrive. 

How much are torsion springs? 

  • Tortion spring pricing varies. Springs are dependant on customers needs and vary based on the weight and size of door. The price of springs also varies depending on the number of cycles the spring in rated for. 

My panel is dented, can you fix it?

  • Dents cannot be totally removed, however they can be manipulated to best possible look. OR, if the panel is not more than 10 years old, it can be replaced (if older; Typically, technology has changed, and older models are not available).

Do I have to replace the whole door if one panel is damaged?

  • No (if still available)
  • You may replace up to two panels on a garage door without a permit.  Once three panels are damaged it most likely is more cost effective to change out the full door.

Why is my opener flashing and not moving/reversing?

  • Something is likely triggering the safety feature, or something is obstructing the path of the door.
    1. Check nothing is in the way
    2. Check for cobwebs/dirt and clear lens
    3. Check that safety eyes are aligned from left to right.
    4. Typically, when an operator is flashing/clicking it is an adjustment of the safety eyes. 

Can you come out today?

  • Yes we offer same day service. We are open 365 days a year with 24 hour service to meet our customer’s needs

Does it cost more to come out on Saturday?

  • It never costs more to come out Monday-Saturday during normal business hours 7am to 6pm.  After hours, on Sunday and on Holidays, there is an emergency fee associated.

Can you come out after hours?

  • Yes. We are open 24/7.

Do you work on Gate operators?

  • Yes. Gate operators fall under commercial work services.

Do you work on Commercials Doors?

  • Yes. We work on all types of garage doors: Sectional, Rolling, Curtain, High Speed, Hydraulic, tilt.

Do you install store bought openers?

  • Yes. While we recommend using a professional series operators we do offer installation of store bought.  The biggest difference between them is the rail system.  With Florida wind loaded doors, the weight is tremendous and store-bought openers have a hollow pieced rail system that causes undue stress to the mechanism while a professional series rail is a solid 1-piece steel rail for a smoother ride (causing less stress on the mechanisms). 

Can you lift the height of the garage door to utilize a car lift?

  • Yes. If there is room to gain above where the door sits in an open position, we can add a high-lift application to maximize the height of where the door sits. 

How can I maximize the area above my garage for storage?

  • Yes. We can replace the opener from a rail system to a side mount operator (jackshaft). This will remove the head and rail above the door, enabling additional space above for

Do you reprogram remotes?

  • Yes. Remotes come in different makes and models and must be the correct remote in order to be programmed.  If a remote loses its program, typically there is something else wrong.

Does my door require maintainance?

  • Yes. Your door is the largest moving part on your home and most buildings, and perhaps the hardest working part, being raised and lowered an average of six times per day. Like any other mechanical device, it needs regular inspections and annual maintenance. This will ensure you will maintain your manufacturer’s warranty. We suggest performing the recommended door maintenance listed in your Installation Manual. Typically this equates to every 5,000 cycles or an annual basis, whichever comes first.
